My passion for cycling is relatively recent. At the beginning of the summer 2005, I went to a friend's place on roller-blades, staying later than expected. Because it was dark, for security reasons, I could not come back on roller-blades. My friend lent me his old bicycle that had been lying in his shed for many years. It is at that moment that I caught the cycling fever. Yep, a car lover that all of a sudden finds a passion for bicycles. A few weeks later, I realized that a better-quality bicycle was mandatory.
The first expedition I went on with my friends Serge and Marc allowed me to go beyond my limits. I realized then that when going on vacation, it's not the destination that counts the most but the trip as a whole that pleases me. Since then, I travel by bicycle as often as I can, either for work or for going to a friend's place (even if they live more than one hundred kilometres from my house).
