After following an extreme training program that included running at -40 o C and running in a sauna, the personal challenge as well as the need to contribute to the safety and welfare of society led me to take up one extreme challenge after another.
100 km foot race over 24 hours, ultramarathon in Millau, France: September 2000
My race time: 16 hours, 57 minutes

My race time: 37 hours 10 minutes (plus 12 hours of skating in the rain).
125 km foot race over 24 hours, Canadian Death Race ultramarathon. Location: Grande Cache, Alberta (at the heart of the Canadian Rockies).
I did not finish this extreme race because I was attacked by a black bear with her cub at the 78th kilometer (the race’s third peak [Mont-Hamel] ). I had to climb up a tree and remain there over an hour.
