Art of giving 2010

This evening offers a philanthropic approach in which art contributes to the respiratory health of the Quebeckers! On April 29, 2010, in the Leonardo da Vinci Center, about twenty famous painters and sculptors will sell some of their works in the benefit of the Quebec Lung Association.

This colourful event will offer participants the opportunity to acquire a work of art more than especial and meet the artists who have left their signature throughout Canada, United-States, Europe and Asia. Each artist has generously agreed to pay 50% of their sales during the event to the Quebec lung Association. To participate, please get an invitation for the total amount of $100 (an original receipt for tax purposes will be delivered at the end of the evening).

All benefits from this event will be entirely donated to the Quebec Lung Association, whose mission is to promoting respiratory health and fighting lung disease through research, education and services. We strongly believe in helping those affected by lung disease as well as the general population. There are currently 1.4 million Quebecers suffering from respiratory illnesses, where more than 700,000 are with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease / emphysema and chronic bronchitis).
